Jamu Recipe for Body Shaping

INGREDIENTS:
Indian pennywort (Centella asiatica, daun pegagan) - 1/3 handful
Litsea glutinosa – leaves (daun adem ati) - 1 handful
Round turmeric (Curcuma xanthorrhiza, temulawak) – 2 finger-size cuts
White turmeric (Kaempferia rotunda, kunyit putih – 2 finger-size cuts
Tamarind (Tamarindus indica, asam Jawa) – 2 finger-size cuts
Palm sugar (gula enau) - sufficient amount
Indian pennywort (Centella asiatica, daun pegagan) - 1/3 handful
Litsea glutinosa – leaves (daun adem ati) - 1 handful
Round turmeric (Curcuma xanthorrhiza, temulawak) – 2 finger-size cuts
White turmeric (Kaempferia rotunda, kunyit putih – 2 finger-size cuts
Tamarind (Tamarindus indica, asam Jawa) – 2 finger-size cuts
Palm sugar (gula enau) - sufficient amount
PREPARATION AND DOSAGE:
Decoction: Peel the round and white turmeric, and clean was them with the other ingredients. Boil all ingredients in 2 glasses of pure water until left to 1 glass. Add the tamarind and palm sugar and stir well and strain of the decoction. Drink this ½ glass 2 times a day.

REMARKS: Indian pennywort is an appetite stimulant, while the litsea glutinosa leaves, round and white turmeric serves as body tonics.
